Important notice about DNS servers.
Recently there have been a number of support tickets sent in regarding DNS problems. Many users complain that they cannot view their website and ask why it isn't loading.
If you are one of these people, it is very easy to get your website working once you've ordered from us. Simply log into your domain control panel (located wherever you bought your domain, e.g. namecheap.com) and change your DNS servers to the following:
ns1.ion-hosting.com
ns2.ion-hosting.com
After you submit this change, please keep in mind that it can take up to 72 hours for the change to take effect, so please be patient. If after 72 hours you still cannot view your website, send in a support ticket as soon as possible and we will handle it for you.
Also, please keep in mind that Ion-Hosting does not sell domains at this time, so you can only use domains that you already own with us or ask for a sub domain when you sign up (free of charge). Do not put down a domain name that you do not own as your domain when you sign up or your account will not function correctly.
